In 1989, Fernando (Nando) Navarro joined Bahala Na Club #1 under Master Leo Giron in Stockton Ca. At that time, he trained with Chief Instructor Dexter Labonog and senior graduates Dave Palar, Roy Atay, June Gotico, Glenn Abrescy, and Jamie Lagang. Fernando has participated in several tournaments and demos, representing Bahala Na Club #1 on their fight team and demo team. Fernando graduated from Bahala Na Club #1 in April of 1992. In 2010, Fernando received his instructorship and title of Guro for Stockton Multi-style Escrima. He teaches class in Sacramento, instructing students in the Original Giron Escrima system, the SLD system as taught by Maestro Dentoy Revillar, and the fighting styles and techniques developed by our Stockton Multi-style Instructors, Graduates, and Students.
