My story on how I started with Filipino Martial Arts, is that I originally trained with my Uncle Shoyu. He was a cook at the lettuce Campo in El Centro, California. He introduced me to Lonnie & Leto Acosto in the mid 1970's, they were Manila Police Officers.

I met June Gotico, Terry Joven and Gene Inis at a affiliate Escrima Camp hosted by Tony Somera. I had the invite to train the Original Club #1 Bahala Na members. I have been with them since the 2005. I teach Shito-ryu Karate and Japanese Jujitsu also in Phoenix, Arizona
